PostHeaderIcon Blisters

First impression of others on the blisters in my feet more than a month ago is eczema. I thought I will have to consider eczema treatment but looking back at what happened, the blisters was caused by the insect bites that I scratched. Besides, it’s not reddish and itchy so I brushed away the thought that it is really an eczema. I don’t know why I sometimes develop blisters caused by insect bites. I also noticed that small blisters appear in my fingers sometimes and the last time that my late Mamang saw it (months before she died), she told me to have it checked. I associate those blisters in using Zonrox when washing the laundry or maybe due to stress. I am not yet sure though because I didn’t heed Mamang’s advice then. Maybe if we’ll be visiting our derma soon, I’ll mention to her about those small blisters.

PostHeaderIcon No-soda diet? That would make me sick!

Ace imposed a no-softdrink diet for himself. So when I told him I am craving for my thirst quencher, he told me to buy one bottle of “sakto” Coke. Sakto coke is a little smaller than 8 oz so that won’t really satisfy me!LOL. He has high level of fatty acid in his blood so he is advised to go on a high-fiber diet. Read: high fiber diet and not a no-soda nor a low sugar or sodium diet. Fatty acid is different from sugar so I told him to just drink softdrinks if he wanted to and just skip eating fatty or fried foods. Maybe that fatty acid in his blood is genetic predisposed or a result of loving fried foods that he has been eating ever since the world began and when he is out of the house because I don’t usually cook fried dishes at home. So Ace just need a high-fiber diet according to their company nurse. He’s not required to undergo treatment for high cholesterol at this time since his concern is triglycerides (though both are related). Hence, food high in fiber is what Ace needs and he can still enjoy drinking soda.LOL. Talk about softdrink addict!

PostHeaderIcon Change in diet

Hubby is not obese so he doesn’t need to take the best weight loss supplement available in the market. But he has this condition that is commonly caused by obesity. So I must say maybe his condition is caused by genetic predisposition. He needs a high-fiber diet so we are changing menu and adding things in our grocery list not to mention that we need to switch cooking oils from Canola to Olive so he could still eat his fave fried fish. Oh my, one of the most expensive oil will be used for frying! Our pockets will surely cry. I just hope it will not take long for the fatty acid level in his blood to decrease so that we won’t be suffering that much because we might get tired of eating steamed dishes most of the time.
