PostHeaderIcon On having a baby

We suddenly feel the urge to have a baby soon. I don’t know why but we feel we’re ready for it. I’ve already mentioned to Ace that we could adopt for there are a lot of babies being left at the DSWD’s care. We could adopt a baby from there but at some point we were hesitant. I have issues on how the baby was treated when he/she was still in the mother’s womb, and the issue of the biological parents’ background and blood line. Though nature (heredity) has something to do with the child’s personality, I still believe nurture (environment) will play a BIG role in developing the child’s personality.

One weekend that we were at SM, we saw an adoption help desk. Is it a sign that we need to adopt and take care of a parentless and homeless child? We were about to approach the help desk but we became hesitant. Hmmm….maybe we need more brainstorming and ample time to decide for adopting a child is no easy job. Ace’ concern about adoption made me laugh. He is amenable with it but his only concern is the baby will probably not look like any of us or won’t get any physical features from us.LOL.

Anyway, we’re trying to have a baby this time, and we will until we successfully succeed on our goal. I really hope and pray He will answer this special prayer soon or a born baby will come our way for adoption. Whichever way, we would gladly accept. But nothing could really compare the joy of having our own child…soon.

Here’s one of the photos that I took and framed. It was a fiery sunset one afternoon of August in 2008. The sky seemed to be on fire that time that I am so glad I am out in the open to shoot sunset. It was worth the wait!

More Ruby Tuesday entries here.

PostHeaderIcon Me and my satchy

I am excited to use my bag and as I promised to myself to go on fashion walk once my bag arrives, Ace and I went to the mall after his work last Saturday. It’s a different feeling wearing your “pricey” (at least for me) bag as Ace was too protective that I should not bump into anything or the bag will be scratched. Gosh! It’s crazy. He’s so concerned over my Satchy.

People are looking at me and my bag. I thought I am just paranoid but Ace noticed it too. He was even the one who noticed people taking a second look at my bag. What are those people looking at or thinking? Maybe it’s their first time to see a Coach Satchel and they must be wondering why they haven’t seen that design in the Chinese stores.LOL. Or, my bag is really beautiful that it makes people take a second look at my bag.
